Why a Pix QR code
Pix has become the default way to pay in Brazil, from street food to rent. A Pix QR code holds a static BR Code with your Pix key, the recipient name and city, an optional amount in reais and a reference, so any Brazilian banking app opens the transfer ready to confirm. Being static, the code works without our servers and can be paid any number of times; changing the key or the amount means generating a new one.
- Read by every bank and payment app in Brazil that supports Pix.
- Works with any key type: CPF, CNPJ, email, phone number or random key.
- An open amount suits tips and donations; a fixed amount suits a set price.
- The reference field helps you tell payments apart in your bank statement.
Food stands and street vendors
A printed code on the stall replaces change and card machines for small amounts.
Freelancers and service providers
Invoices and quotes include a code with the agreed amount in reais.
Shared bills and group purchases
Organisers share the code with the group so everyone pays their part without asking for the key.
Churches and charities
Donation posters show a code without an amount, so each person gives what they can.
Delivery drivers
A card with the code lets customers pay on arrival without a card terminal.

Pix Payment QR Code Generator (BR Code)
Enter your Pix key (CPF, CNPJ, email, phone or random key), the recipient name and city, plus an optional amount in reais and a reference. The result is an EMV BR Code carrying the BR.GOV.BCB.PIX identifier and a CRC checksum, encoded straight into the image.
What is this QR code?
Pix is the instant payment system of the Central Bank of Brazil. Its QR codes follow the EMV BR Code standard, so every Brazilian banking app can read them and show the payment for confirmation. Because the BR Code is printed in full, one image can be paid any number of times, and a new key or amount simply calls for another code.
Best use cases
- ✓Shop counters, street vendors and delivery drivers.
- ✓Service invoices that state the exact sum in reais.
- ✓Donations and shared expenses with an open amount.
- ✓Online shops offering Pix as a payment option at checkout.
How to generate your QR code
Enter your Pix key exactly as it is registered at your bank.
Add the recipient name and city that the BR Code requires.
Set an amount in BRL or leave it empty so the payer enters it.
Pay a small amount to yourself from a second account to confirm the code before printing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as Pix Copia e Cola?
Yes. The QR holds the same BR Code string that banking apps share as Pix Copia e Cola.
What is the difference between static and dynamic Pix?
A dynamic Pix is issued by a payment provider for a single charge. This generator creates a static Pix, which suits fixed or open amounts and can be paid many times.
Does the payer have to confirm?
Yes. Their banking app shows the recipient name, the city and the amount, and nothing is sent until they approve the Pix.
Which Pix key should I use?
Any key registered at your bank works. A random key avoids printing your CPF or phone number on public material.
Why are the name and city required?
The BR Code standard of the Central Bank requires both. The name is limited to 25 characters and the city to 15, so abbreviate if needed.
What is the reference field for?
It holds the transaction identifier, up to 25 characters. Use it to tell orders or customers apart in your statement.
Will the payer see who they are paying?
Yes. The banking app shows the recipient name and a masked part of the key or tax number before the transfer is confirmed.
Can I accept Pix from outside Brazil?
Pix works between Brazilian accounts in reais. Foreign payers need a bank or wallet that offers Pix.
Is there a limit on the amount?
The code itself accepts any amount in reais. Limits for Pix transfers are set by each bank and are often lower at night.
