Why a video meeting QR code

Meeting links do not survive being printed: nobody types a long meeting ID and a passcode from a poster. A video meeting QR code opens the join link of a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or any other call on the phone that scans it. Paste the full invitation link and name the code so you can find it in your dashboard. Each scan passes through QR Global first, so when the room changes or the next series of sessions gets a new link, you change the destination, and every agenda, door sign and handout already printed stays valid.

  • Opens the complete join link, including any passcode it carries, without typing a meeting ID.
  • Works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and any service that has a web join link.
  • When the meeting link changes, edit the destination instead of reprinting signs.
  • Where the plan offers smart redirects, schedule rules can open a different meeting for each weekday or time slot.

Hybrid meeting rooms

A sign on the meeting-room door or table opens the room's standing call, so a late participant joins from their phone in seconds.

Conferences and webinars

Printed programmes link each session to its stream for attendees who cannot get into the hall.

Online classes and tutoring

A code on the timetable or the homework sheet opens the lesson, and weekly schedule rules switch between groups.

Telehealth appointments

Appointment cards carry the code for the video visit, so patients do not dig through their email right before the call.

Support desks and showrooms

A sign at the counter or on the packaging starts a video call with a specialist who can see the product.

Video Meeting QR Code Generator

A video-meeting QR code gives an agenda or room notice a quick route to the meeting invitation. Use the full join link supplied by the host so any required meeting identifier or access parameter remains intact.

What is this QR code?

A video meeting QR code opens the join link of an existing Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or Webex meeting. It does not schedule calls or get around passcodes and waiting rooms.

Best use cases

  • ✓Printed workshop agendas linking to a remote session.
  • ✓Meeting-room signs pointing to the current join invitation.

How to generate your QR code

1

Copy the complete join URL from the meeting organizer.

2

Paste it into the video-meeting link field.

3

Add the session name and time beside the code.

4

Join the call on a phone through the code to see what participants go through.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a scan immediately join the call?

The provider may ask for an app, name, password or host approval before joining.

What if the organizer changes the room?

Update the saved dynamic destination to the new join URL and test the code again.

Which services are supported?

Any service with a join link that starts with https: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Jitsi and others. QR Global does not connect to the service itself; the scan simply opens the link.

Will people have to enter a passcode?

Only if the link does not contain it. Zoom invitation links often include the passcode, so copy the whole link from the invitation. Waiting rooms, sign-in requirements and host approval remain under the organiser's control.

Does a scan open the app or the browser?

The meeting service decides. Zoom and Teams usually offer to open their app or to install it, and Google Meet may ask for its app on a phone. Try the code on both iOS and Android before printing.

Can one sign serve a weekly series of meetings?

Yes. If the link stays the same, nothing needs doing. If each session gets a new link, update the destination before it starts or, with smart redirects enabled in your plan, add a schedule rule with its own link for each day and time.

What is the meeting name field for?

It names the code in your dashboard and history, so you can tell the Monday class from the board meeting. Participants do not see it, because the scan goes straight to the meeting.

Can I see whether people used the code?

Your code statistics show how many scans happened and when. Who actually joined, and for how long, is visible only in the meeting service's own reports.
