Why a poll QR code
Raising hands counts the loudest people in the room, and a link to a separate polling app loses half of them at the sign-up screen. A poll QR code opens a voting page right on the phone: your question, an optional description and between two and ten answers to tap. Voters need neither an account nor an app, and a browser that has voted can change its answer rather than adding a second one. After voting, people see the current results unless you hide them, while you follow the totals in the code analytics and can export every vote as CSV. Already run polls in another tool? Leave the options empty and the code can simply point to that page instead.
- Voting happens on a page hosted by QR Global, with no app, sign-up or third-party form.
- Two to ten answer options, an optional description and results shown to voters after they choose.
- The browser remembers its vote and replaces it on a repeat, which keeps casual polls fair without logins.
- Totals in the code analytics, CSV export and a webhook for every vote on plans with webhooks.

Poll QR Code Generator
A poll QR code is built for a single, quick question with visible results, unlike a survey's multiple, deeper questions. It's the choice for instant audience engagement.
What is this QR code?
A poll QR code opens a voting page run by QR Global with one question and two to ten answers, or forwards to a poll you run elsewhere.
Best use cases
- ✓Voting for the best dish of the week on a cafe's noticeboard.
- ✓A live audience poll during a presentation or conference.
- ✓Choosing the next podcast topic among listeners.
- ✓A community initiative's local vote.
How to generate your QR code
Write one clear question and, if it helps, a short description.
Add between two and ten answer options.
Decide whether voters should see the results after they vote.
Show the code on a slide, table card or notice board and open the voting page once.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is poll different from survey?
Poll is a single quick question, often with results visible right away, while survey covers multiple related questions for deeper research.
Can I see results as votes come in?
Yes, results are typically visible immediately after voting, unlike a survey where results usually stay closed until collection ends.
How do voters take part?
They scan the code, tap one answer and submit. The page opens in whatever browser the phone uses, so voters need neither an installation nor a login.
Can someone vote twice?
The vote is remembered by a cookie in the browser, so voting again from it replaces the earlier answer. A private window or another phone counts as a new voter, which is fine for everyday polls but not for elections.
Do voters see the results?
By default, yes: after voting they see how the answers are split. You can switch this off so that only you see the totals in the code analytics.
Can I change the options once voting has started?
Better not. Votes are stored by the position of the answer in the list, so reordering or replacing options changes what earlier votes mean. For a new question, create a new code.
How do I export the results?
The code analytics shows the count for each option, and the full list of votes with times downloads as CSV. On plans with webhooks, each vote can also be sent to your own system as it happens.
How many votes can one code take?
A code accepts up to 10,000 responses, which covers a full conference hall many times over. For larger public votes, use a dedicated voting service and point the code to it.
