Why an Amazon Appstore QR code
Fire tablets and Fire TV sticks do not include Google Play; apps reach them through the Amazon Appstore. For streaming services, games and learning apps with a Fire version, an Amazon Appstore QR code opens the right listing on Amazon without a search. Enter the ASIN of your app, which opens its amazon.com page, or paste the listing link from another Amazon marketplace. Since August 2025 Amazon supports the Appstore only on its own Fire devices, so phones with Google Play should get a Google Play code instead. Fire TV has no camera, which means people scan with their phone and then install on the TV.
